Squirrel or Rabbit, in crockpot
3 to 6 dressed squirrels or 1 to 2 dressed rabbits
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 Tblsps lemon juice
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp ground ginger
Salt and pepper to taste
Cut squirrels or rabbits into serving size pieces and
place into the crockpot/slow cooker.
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl and pour over meat.
Cover and cook on Low heat for 7 to 8 hours.
To thicken the gravy, mix a little cornstarch in a
little cool water, mixing thoroughly.
Add to juice in crockpot and cook on high until thickened.
