    • icecream
    • slivered almonds
    • glaced fruit (cherries)
    • grated chocolate


    Instructions


    1. Divide icecream into three even portions and soften
    2. Lay almonds on baking tray and place in oven to roast. Remove from heat when almonds turn slightly brown (roasting will enhance the flavour)
    3. Chop cherries, and grate chocolate
    4. Mix one portion of icecream with glaced fruit. Place in a rectangular container, and place in freezer to cool.
    5. When first layer has hardened, mix next portion of softened icecream with grated chocolate. Place on top of first layer, and return to freezer to cool.
    6. When second layer has hardened, mix next portion of icecream with roasted almonds. Place on top of second layer, and return to freezer to cool.
    7. Allow to set overnight.
