List of Ingredients
- 400g mince meat
- chopped celery, carrots, zucchini, corn
- 2 jars pasta sauce (with wine and garlic)
- 1 teaspoon vegemite
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- chilli sauce to taste
- dash of tobasco sauce
- garlic
- red wine
- mixed herbs
Instructions
- Heat oil in a medium-large saucepan. Add crushed garlic and cook. Add mince meat and cook until brown.
- Add pasta sauces, vegemite, curry powder, chilli sauce, red wine, tobasco and mixed herbs.
- After 10 minutes, add vegetables.
- Simmer sauce for 20 minutes
- Serve with spaghetti and parmesan.
Final Comments
You can use this sauce as a base to make a Sherpherd's Pie. Pour sauce into an ovenproof dish. Top with mashed potato and cook until golden brown.
