    Cocoa Truffles

    Nabob Foods - Time honoured recipes of the Canadian West

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/3 cup cocoa
    • 3/4 plus 2 Tbsp icing sugar
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1/3 cup coconut or ground almonds,
    • chocolate sprinkles or crushed wafers


    Instructions


    1. Sift together cocoa and icing sugar

    2. Cream butter and add cocoa mixture and blend well.

    3. Take small tsps. full of the soft mixture and form into balls

    4. Roll in coconut or any of the above such as wafers.

    5. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving

    6. Makes about 30 candies
