    • 5 cups flour
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 pint of sour cream


    Instructions


    1. Mix and knead until smooth.

    2. Cover and let sit in warm place for 2 hours.

    3. Roll dough thin, cut out circles or squares.Fill and seal well.

    4. Drop into boiling water and cook a few minutes until pyrogies come to the surface.

    5. Then remove with slotted spoon to a pan with melted butter to keep from sticking to each other.

    6. Filling of mashed potatoes and shredded cheddar cheese or Cheese Whiz is most common.



    Final Comments


    These freeze well. Lay on cookie sheet to freeze and when frozen, place in bags.
    Enjoy your family and your meal.
