Baked Potato Soup

List of Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes,baked, cooled, peeled and cubed
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup flour
- 7 cups milk
- 6-8 strips bacon cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon onion salt
- Ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, combine butter and flour. cook, stirring constantly until tan colored.
- Slowly stir in milk. Cook until thickened.
- Add potatoes. Cook until heated through.
- Add the rest of the ingredients. (I hold back a little of the bacon and cheese to garnish with.) Stir until cheese melted.
- Serve while hot!
Final Comments
If you freeze this, it may separate somewhat when reheating, but the taste is still okay.
