TRAILSIDE OATMEAL COOKIES

List of Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter, soft
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups oatmeal
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Sift together flour, soda and salt, set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat butter, peanut butter and sugars until creamy.
- Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla.
- Stir in the flour mixture, then oats, then chocolate chips and nuts
- Drop by tablespoons full onto ungreased cookie sheets and place 3 inches apart.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Final Comments
Makes about 3 dozen cookies and the recipe can be doubled.
