    Recipe Introduction


    Add baking cocoa to this if chocolate frosting is desired.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/4 cup shortening
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 Tbsp flour
    • 1 Tbsp milk
    • 1/2 egg white
    • dash of vanilla
    • 1 Tbsp baking cocoa, if chocolate is desired


    Instructions


    1. Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer for 5 minutes.
    2. Important to start on low speed and work up to high speed.
    3. You can double this recipe. This size recipe frosts an 8x8" or 9x9" sized cake pan.
