List of Ingredients
- 7 - 8 lb chuck roast
- 5 beef bouillon cubes
- 2 cups water
- 1 pkg Lipton Onion Soup
Instructions
- Dissolve beef bouillon cubes in water, pour over beef, sprinkle onion soup over beef.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 250 degrees for 3 to 4 hours. Keep an eye on it after 3 hours, so it won't get too dry. Add more water, if necessary.
- Pour off the liquid and refrigerate to let the fat rise.
- Break the meat apart and pour liquid over the meat.
- Discard the fat.
- Heat till baked through.
- Take a heaping spoonful or more and place on buttered hamburger buns or bread.
Final Comments
You can add more than 5 beef bouillon cubes, if you don't mind salty beef.
