    Decadent, great way to show off at that special party, without the fuss, you will never know this recipe is lightened up either, so indulge


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 squares (1oz each) unsweetened chocolate
    • 3 egg whites, lightly beaten
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 2 jars (2 1/2 oz each) prune baby food
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
    • 6 tablespoons fat-freecaramel ice cream topping
    • 9 tablespoons reduced-fat whipped topping


    Instructions


    1. In a microwave or saucepan, melt chocolate; stir until smooth.** ( I use the coffee makers heat pan and put a heat resistant corning ware glass bowl on it with chocolate inside to melt it, benefits are faster and creamier , very smooth.)
    2. In a bowl, combine the egg whites,sugar,melted chocolate,prunes,vanilla and salt;mix well.
    3. Stir in flour until just moistened.
    4. Pour into an 8-in. square baking pan coated with a non stick cooking spray.
    5. Sprinkle with walnuts.
    6. Bake at 350 for 30 to 32 minutes or until the top springs back when lightly touched.
    7. Cool on a wire rack.
    8. Cut into squares;drizzle with caramel topping and dallop with whipped topping.


    Final Comments


    9 servings...10g fat.....5g saturated fat......0 cholesterol. Enjoy *** Refrigerate brownies in the pan to firm them up before cutting.
