    Honey Glazed Corned Beef

    • 1 Corned Beef (anywhere from 2 to 3.5 lbs)
    • 1 large onion,quartered
    • 4 tablespoons sugar
    • whole garlic cloves (about 5)
    • honey


    Instructions


    1. Place corned beef, 2 tablespoons sugar, and onion in a large pot,add water to cover
    2. Boil,reduce heat to simmer and cover
    3. cook for 1 and 1 half hours, drain water from pot,keeping onions and beef
    4. Repeat process,add 2 tablespoons of sugar, and water to cover beef,boil,reduce heat to simmer and cover cook for another 1 and 1 half hours.
    5. Remove corned beef and place in a baking pan
    6. Stud beef with cloves,and coat generously with honey,refrigerate over night covered
    7. Remove cloves,bake covered on medium or low heat. It can bake for a half hour or much longer,as your serving needs vary
    8. You can use the water to cook cabbage if desired as well.
    9. For a more deli like taste serve immediately after double boiling
