Recipe Introduction
A Fast, tasty way to give that ordinary chicken a good kick
List of Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 broiler/fryer chickens ( 3 to 4lbs each), quartered___ OR Substitute for 6 chicken breasts
Instructions
- In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first ten ingredients.
- Remove about 1/3 cup of juice for basting; cover and refrigerate.
- Add chicken to bag; seal and turn to coat.
- Recommended to refrigerate for about 8 hours over night.
- Drain and discard marinade.
- Grill chicke, covered, over medium-hot heat for 45 to 60 minutes or until juices run clear and a meat thermometer reads 170.
- Turn and baste often with reserved marinade.
Final Comments
I personally like to use the breasts for this recipie. I also like to use the marinade left in the bag and cover the chicken while i oven bake it.
