Good Seasoned Shrimp
Source of Recipe
From CooknQT on CC
List of Ingredients
- 1 packet Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix (dry powder)
- Oil (1/4 t 1/2 cup, depending on how "seasoned" you want the shrimp
- 1 pound shrimp, raw, peeled & de-vained [you can actually marinate up to 2 pounds with this]
- wooden skewers (soaked in water about 20 minutes)
Instructions
- Place the oil and the packet of Italian dressing in a large zip-lock bag and combine.
- Add the shrimp, close top (squeezing out excess air) & mix well to assure all are coated. Allow to marinate (in refrigerator) for anywhere from 1 - 4 hours, turning & "squishing" every once-in-a-while.
- Thread on the skewers (that have been soaked) and grill - basting often with the remaining marinade.
Final Comments
These are best (just MHO) when you let let the shrimp begin to get a bit caramelized (darkened) around the edges.
