    Roasted garlic really makes this dish.

    List of Ingredients




    8 cl Garlic
    2 tb Olive oil
    1 ts Marjoram dried
    1 ts Basil dried
    1/2 ts Thyme dried
    4 lb Tomatoes, peeled and diced
    1 ea French bread (loaf)

    Recipe



    ~ Preheat oven to 350 ~ Brush unpeeled garlic cloves with one tablespoon oil and place in a small baking dish ~ Roast garlic until soft when pierced about 15 minutes. Cool, peel and mash.
    ~ Combine garlic, remaining one tablespoon oil and herbs in a large bowl. Stir in tomatoes and refrigerate for up to 2 hours ~Slice Bread into 1" slices and toast both sides under broiler ~ Top toasted bread with tomato mixture and serv

    HINT: garnish with fresh italian parsley or fresh basil leaves
