Chewy Coconut Macaroons

2 2/3 cups flaked coconut
2/3 cup flour
1/3 cup flour
Pinch salt
4 egg whites
½ tsp. almond extract
Recipe
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place parchment paper on cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl combine coconut, sugar, flour and salt. Stir in egg whites and almond extract. Drop by rounded teaspoons 2” apart onto cookie sheet.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Transfer cookies to wire racks; cool completely.
