Recipe Introduction
This are very rich and chewy. It's hard to stop after eating just one. They go great with a cup of coffee.
List of Ingredients
8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
8 Tbs. butter
3 eggs
1 ¼ cups sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2/3 cup bleached all-purpose flour
½ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
1 ½ cups (~9 oz.) chocolate chips
1 ½ cups (~6 oz.) chopped walnuts
1 ½ cups (~6 oz.) chopped pecans
Recipe
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Melt the chocolates and butter. Cool. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until lightened. Whisk in the chocolate mixture and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir into the chocolate mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop tablespoon-size cookies onto cookie sheets sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the cookies are slightly firm and cracked. Cool on the pans.
