Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies

1 cup butter, softened
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
½ cup cocoa
12 oz. white baking chipsRecipe
Preheat oven to 375 F. Melt the unsweetened chocolate and let cool. Beat the butter until creamy. Add sugar, brown sugar, and baking soda; beat until well mixed. Add eggs, unsweetened chocolate and vanilla; beat well. Gradually beat in flour and cocoa. Stir in white baking chips.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough 2” apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 9 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Transfer cookies to a wire rack; cool.
Yield: 48 cookies
