Sour Cream Banana Bread

Makes 4 loaves.





List of Ingredients



• 3/4 cup butter
  
• 3 cups sugar
  
• 3 large eggs
  
• 6 very very ripe bananas
  
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
  
• 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  
• 3 teaspoons baking soda
  
• 1 (16-oz) container sour cream
  
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  
• 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  
• 1 cup chopped nuts, optional
  






Instructions



1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease four 7x3-inch loaf pans.
   
2. In large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Mix in eggs, mashed bananas, sour cream, vanilla and cinnamon.
   
   
3. Add salt, baking soda and flour and mix well. Stir in nuts.
   
   
4. Divide batter into prepared pans. Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
