Skillet Pork Chops

- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 4 8 ounce pork chops about 1 inch thick
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large heavy skillet over medium high heat.
- Rub the spices into the pork chops and place in the skillet. Cook for 4 minutes on each side.
- Tightly cover and remove from the heat. Let the pork sit for 5 minutes to allow the pork to finish cooking.
