    Pasta Sauce with Chunky Portabellas


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (4 oz.) can chunky portabella mushrooms with juice
    • 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
    • 1/2 tbsp. finely chopped fresh garlic
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
    • 1/4 tsp. dried basil leaves
    • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves
    • 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper


    Instructions


    1. Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan. Stirring well, bring to a boil.
    2. Reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes.
    3. Serve over pasta or pierogies. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
