Pasta Sauce with Chunky Portabellas
List of Ingredients
- 1 (4 oz.) can chunky portabella mushrooms with juice
- 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp. finely chopped fresh garlic
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan. Stirring well, bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes.
- Serve over pasta or pierogies. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
