    Pear Lime JELLO Salad

    Source of Recipe

Jim Schnobrich from his mom Lolly

    Recipe Introduction

In Minnesota a jello mold is considered a salad - no question about this one, because it's green!

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 small package of lime jello
    • 8 oz cream cheese
    • 1 (no 2 1/2) can sliced pears (1 qt)
    • 1 cup plus 2 Tbsp cream

    Instructions

    1. Dissolve Jello in 1 cup hot pear juice (from the can of pears).
    2. Cream 2 Tbsp cream and cream cheese.
    3. Add the cream cheese to the hot Jello. Stir until the cheese is dissolved.
    4. Put into the fridge until thick - but NOT hard. About 1 hout.
    5. Add 1 cup cream (whipped) and pear slices into mixture.
    6. Put into a jello mold or bowl and back into the fridge to harden.

    Final Comments

Honest! This is a salad - at least in Minnesota it is!
