    Lemon Blueberry Tea Loaves

    1 1/2 cups blueberries
    2 1/2 cups flour
    3/4 cup margarine
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    3 eggs
    3/4 cup milk
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 1/2 Tablespoons grated lemon peel

    Glaze: 1/4 cup sugar & 1/4 cup lemon juice

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 8 x 4-inch loaf pans; set aside. Toss blueberries with 2 tablespoons flour; set aside.

    Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs. Add milk, flour and baking powder. Fold in blueberries and lemon peel. Pour into prepared loaf pans. Bake in 350 degree oven 60 to 70 minutes or until done. Remove from pans to wire rack.

    Prepare glaze: Combine sugar and lemon juice in pan. Heat to a boil and stir until sugar dissolves. Brush hot glaze over tops of loaves. Cool completely.
