List of Ingredients
1/2 cup LAND O LAKES® Butter, softened
6 ounces (1 1/2 cups) deli LAND O LAKES® Cheddar Cheese, shredded
3 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup quick-cooking oats
3 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese Recipe
Combine butter, Cheddar cheese, water, Worcestershire sauce and salt in large mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed (2 to 3 minutes). Add flour, oats and bacon; mix well.
Shape into 12-inch roll on plastic food wrap. Wrap; refrigerate until firm (about 4 hours).
Heat oven to 400°F. Cut roll into 1/4-inch slices with sharp knife. Place 1-inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Sprinkle tops lightly with Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately remove to cooling racks; cool slightly. These wafers are best when served while slightly warm.
Makes 4 dozen wafers.
TIP: Dough can be made ahead and refrigerated for 1 week or frozen up to 3 months.
