    This has been such a long-standing favorite in our family that not only has my mother requested it on previous special occasions, but I have already published the recipe as well. Like all really great things, it bears repeating. The honey makes a surprising contrast to
    the tangy cheese in this recipe. Make these once and I'm sure you'll make them often.

    List of Ingredients




    French bread (baguette)
    Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
    Honey

    Recipe



    Slice the bread diagonally, place the slices on a baking sheet and toast both sides under a preheated broiler. Sprinkle with the Gorgonzola and drizzle with a little honey. Place under the broiler and cook just until the cheese begins to melt, 1 to 2 minutes. Serve immediately.
