TERIYAKI BACON WRAPPED WATER CHESTNUTS

2 cans whole water chestnuts, drained
1 lb. bacon
sugar
teriyaki sauce
toothpicks
Recipe
Cut bacon in half. Wrap 1-2 pieces around whole chestnut, hold together with toothpicks. Pour sauce in bowl, dip chestnuts in sauce, roll in sugar to coat. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 400ºF for 15 to 20 min. or until bacon sizzles. Use your own judgement. It will carmalize.
