Review Posted by: KC10: This stuff is AWESOME!!! I will definitely be making this again!!!Vicki just posted this recipe yesterday and she was right on the money when she said, "Watch out! This bread is bursting with almond flavor." I toasted some slivered almonds as well as a few sliced almonds as I didn't have as many of the slivered as I thought. Anyway, I added some right into the batter as was suggested and I mixed a few with the crumb topping! I love the slightly toasted flavor they added and the crunch! I suggest everyone do this! And talk about a beautiful looking treat!! I baked mine in two mini bundt pans instead of the loaf pans and they are so pretty!! (One is going over to a neighbor!!) I'll be making these as gifts for Christmas this year!! I'll put them on pretty little Christmas plates and wrap them in some of that colored saran wrap, top it off with a pretty Christmas ribbon and some greens and holly and they'll look gorgeous!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Vicki!! This is a winner for sure!! I'm gonna make sure the gals in Mary's Tea Room know about this recipe!! I just had a slice with some sweet and spicy tea and it was ambrosia from the gods!!! Yummmmmmm:O):O)

    Enjoy!!
