    1 pound bulk sausage
    1 cup chopped onion
    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1 cup grated Swiss cheese
    1 egg beaten
    1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
    1 1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 Tablespoons chopped parsley

    3 cups biscuit mix
    1 cup milk
    1/2 cup mayonnaise

    1 egg yolk, beaten

    Recipe



    Cook and crumble sausage with onion until sausage is done; drain. Add cheeses, beaten egg and seasoning; set aside. Make a dough of biscuit mix, milk and mayonnaise. Grease a 9-inch pan and spread half the dough in pan. Top with sausage mixture, then remaining dough. Brush with egg yolk and bake at 400ºF for 25-30 minutes. Serves 6.

    Posted by: cjintexas: I liked this because the only other sausage bread recipe I have calls for using a yeast dough and rolling the sausage mixture up in it like a jellyroll. This just looked easier.
