    Makes 6 servings

    List of Ingredients

    Oil for pan
    3 cups (750 mL) cubed bread
    1 cup (250 mL) finely diced ham
    1 cup (250 mL) shredded Swiss cheese
    2 green onions, thinly sliced on diagonal
    2 cups (500 mL) cooked broccoli florets
    5 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 cups (375 mL) milk
    1/2 tsp (2 mL) EACH salt and pepper

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C). Lightly oil a 10-inch (25-cm) pie plate or shallow casserole dish. Spread bread cubes evenly in dish. Sprinkle ham, cheese, green onions and broccoli over bread. Whisk eggs with milk, salt and pepper. Pour evenly over bread mixture. Bake in centre of preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until set and golden. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
