    1 yellow cake mix
    1 small box butterscotch instant pudding
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. oil
    1 c. water

    Recipe



    In mixing bowl beat cake mix, pudding, eggs, vanilla, oil and water. Scrape bowl periodically. Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan. Pour in pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

    QUICK BUTTERSCOTCH FROSTING

    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    5 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar, sifted

    Combine sugar, butter and salt in saucepan and bring to boil, stirring constantly. Add milk and cook over low heat, about 3 minutes, then cool. Add powdered sugar and beat until thick enough to spread. If becomes too thick, add a little cream.
