    Cinnamon Sour Cream Cake

    This is SO GOOD!!! Makes 12 - 16 servings; Prep time: 20 mins.; Baking time: 1 hour

    List of Ingredients




    3 c. all purpose flour
    2 c. sugar
    2 t. baking powder
    1/2 t. salt
    1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
    4 eggs
    2 t. vanilla extract
    1 1/4 c. butter, softened
    1 (10 oz.) bag Hershey's cinnamon chips
    2 T. flour
    Powdered sugar, optional

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350ºF. Generously grease and flour a 12-cup fluted tube pan. (I used a 9x13 pan.) Set aside.

    Combine the 3 c. flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.

    Beat sour cream, eggs and vanilla with a fork or whisk in a medium bowl. Add this mixture to the flour mixture. Beat on low speed of mixer until well mixed. Turn up speed and beat for 2 more mins. Batter will be thick.

    Stir together 2 T. flour with the chips until chips are coated. Gently fold into mixture. Pour into pan.

    Bake for 60 - 70 mins. or until browned and wooden pick inserted in thickest part comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.

    Invert onto serving plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
