List of Ingredients




Combine and beat 3 mins. at medium speed:
2 c. sugar, 1 1/4 c. wesson oil, 3 eggs.

Add gradually:
3 c. flour, 1 t. salt, 1 t. baking soda, 2 t. vanilla.

This will be a heavy batter.

Fold in:
2 large, chopped apples and 1 c. chopped pecans.



Recipe



Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325ºF.

Cool 20 mins. and pour sauce over it.

Sauce:
Bring to a boil and pour over cake:
3/4 stick butter, 1/2 c. light brown sugar, 2 T. milk.
