Mini Chip Pound Cake

1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 eggs
2 1/2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate Mini Chips
Chocolate Satin Glaze (Below) Recipe
Cream butter or margarine, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add alternately with milk to creamed mixture, beating just until smooth. Stir in Mini Chips.
Pour into well-greased and floured 12-cup Bundt pan or la-inch tube pan. Bake at 350ºF for 65 to 70 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Remove from pan; cool completely. Glaze with Chocolate Satin Glaze.
12 to 16 servings.
Chocolate Satin Glaze
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate mini chips
Combine sugar and water in small saucepan: cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat; immediately add mini chips, stirring until melted. Continue stirring until glaze is desired consistency.
About 1/2 cup glaze.
