Mississippi Mud Cake

2 sticks butter, melted
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
1 bag small marshmallows
ICING:
1 box confectioners sugar
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon vanillaRecipe
Mix all cake ingredients (except marshmallows) until smooth. Pour into a 13x9x2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
While cake is hot spread the bag of marshmallows over top of cake; return cake to oven until marshmallows melt. Cool. Ice with icing.
Mix the icing ingredients together in a small mixing bowl until smooth. Spread over top of cake.
