1 box spice cake mix
1 can (2 cups) Libby's pumpkin pie mix*
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
Recipe
Combine-mix according to pkg. directions.
Bake in greased and floured Bundt pan-350 oven 50-60 minutes.
Cool in pan 15 minutes before removing. Cool completely. We sprinkle it with Confectioner's sugar and serve it with a dollup of whipped topping.
*Years ago the Libby's Pumpkin Pie Mix was available in 16 oz. cans. In our area it is now available only in 30 oz. cans so we just measure it out.
Note: This is the MIX, not just plain canned pumpkin.

I'm sorry if the directions for mixing weren't clear. Just put all of the ingredients stated in the recipe in a bowl, mix on low speed of mixer about 1 minute to combine, and then beat at medium speed 2 minutes or so. You follow the mixing directions only on the box only-you do not add the cake mix ingredients.
