    Cake ingredients:
    1 pkg. plain white cake mix
    1 c. milk
    8 Tbs. butter, melted
    3 large eggs
    1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon

    Cinnamon Buttercream Frosting ingredients:
    8 Tbs. butter
    3 3/4 c. confectioner sugar, sifted
    3-4 Tbs. milk
    1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon

    Recipe



    Cake directions: Preheat to 350ºF.

    Grease 2 9" round cake pans with shortening. Dust with flour. Shake off excess. Place all ingredients in large mixing bowl. Blend for 1 min. Scrape sides, and blend faster for 2 min. Divide batter between the pans. Place in oven side by side.

    Bake 27-29 mins. Cool pans on wire racks 10 min. Place one cake layer, right side up, on serving platter. Spread top with frosting. Place second layer on. Frost top and sides. Place in fridge for 20 min. until frosting sets.

    Frosting directions: Place butter in large mixing bowl. Blend on low 30 seconds, til fluffy. Add sugar, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Beat 1 min. Increase speed to med. for 1 min. Blend in up to 1tbs. milk, if frosting seems too stiff. Use to frost top and sides of cake.
