    Five Minute Fudge (AKA Microwave Fudge)

    16 ounce box confectioner's sugar
    1/2 cup cocoa powder (Hershey's preferred)
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 cup milk
    1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
    1 stick unsalted butter, softened
    1 cup chopped nuts

    Recipe



    Combine sugar, cocoa, salt, milk, and vanilla until well blended. Put into a 1 1/2 quart microwave-safe bowl. Top with the softened butter. Microwave on high for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Blend in nuts. Pour into a waxed paper lined 8 inch pan. Chill until firm. Cut in squares. NOTE: It can be dropped by teaspoon onto a waxed paper lined cookie sheet.

    Posted by: gaudrey_GA: This was originally called Two Minute Fudge but it takes about 5 minutes to put it together. Then it has to chill, but some people eat it with a spoon while it's still warm. LOL
