Recipe Introduction


Effort: average; Taste like a Heath Bar. The first time I had this candy is when we were coming back from Akron, Ohio after visiting my sister and her husband. Her mother-in-law sent us home with a tin of homemade candies and this is one of them that was in it.


List of Ingredients




2 cups brown sugar
1 lb. real butter (must be real butter)
1 cup pecans, chopped
2 packages Hershey bars (this is a 6 pack of the 1.55 oz. size bars)



Recipe



Spread nuts on buttered sheet cake pan ("15x10x1").

Melt butter & sugar; bring to a boil for 18 - 20 mins, stirring constantly. Pour over nuts on cookie sheet. Spread with spatula.

Lay Hershey's on top to melt & spread evenly. Cool.
