ELEGANT SEAFOOD CASSEROLE

1 lb. sea scallops
2 lb. shrimp
2-3 T. soy sauce
3 c. dry sherry
2 c. unsalted butter
1 T. fresh parsley, chopped
6 cloves garlic, crushed
2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1 c. water chestnuts
2 cans bean sprouts or 1 generous handful (fresh)Recipe
Marinate scallops and shrimp in soy sauce and sherry for approx. 15 minutes. Melt butter, add parsley and garlic. Drain seafood and place in shallow casserole; cover with mushrooms, then water chestnuts and lastly bean srpouts. Cover with the melted butter mixture.
Bake at 350ºF for approx. 25-30 minutes.
