GOURMET SAUSAGE AND NOODLES

1 lb pork sausage
2 c. fine noodles
2 T. chopped pimiento
2 T. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. milk
1 can cream chicken soup
2 c. crumbled bleu cheese or cheddar
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 T melted butter
Recipe
Form sausage into marbles. Flatten in patties and lightly brown on both sides (or brown and crumble). Drain. Cook noodles. Drain. Combine patties, noodles, pimiento, and green pepper. Add milk to soup. Heat, stirring constantly. Add cheese. Heat and stir until cheese melts. Combine sauce with noodle mixture. Turn into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Mix crumbs and butter and place on top. Bake 350ºF, 30-35 minutes. Serves 6
