Potato Bacon Casserole

4 cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, divided
1/2 cup finely chopped onion, divided
1 (2.1 ounce) pkg cooked bacon slices, cut in small pieces, divided
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 egg, beaten lightly
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1/2 t. pepperRecipe
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease 8" square baking pan or dish. Layer 1/2 potatoes, 1/2 onion, 1/2 bacon and 1/2 cheese in prepared pan. Repeat layers.
Combine milk, egg and seasoned salt in small bowl. Pour evenly over potato mixture. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake for 55-60 minutes; uncover and bake additional 5 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
