    BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES #2

    2 (6 oz each) pkg butterscotch morsels
    1/2 cup (1 stick) butter OR margarine
    4 large eggs
    1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1-1/4 tsps salt
    2 cups pecans, chopped

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350ºF. Lightly grease 15" X 10" X 1" jellyroll baking pan.

    In top of double boiler over simmering water, melt butterscotch morsels & butter; remove from heat.

    At medium speed of electric mixer, combine eggs & sugar, beating until light & fluffy.

    Sift together flour, baking powder & salt; add to creamed mxiture, stirring well. Stir in butterscotch mixture & pecans. Pour mixture into prepared jellyroll baking pan.

    Bake in 350ºF oven 25 mins. Cool completely in pan; cut into 2" squares. Store in airtight containers.
