    List of Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup butter or margarine, softened (I used 1/2 and 1/2)
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 egg
    2 cups peanut butter chips
(Or Optional, 1 cup+ 1 cup chocolate chips)

    Recipe

Preheat oven to 375ºF. In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.

In large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla extract; beat at medium speed until creamy (about 3-5 minutes). Add egg; beat well. Turn mixer to low; gradually add flour mixture.

Stir in with a spoon, peanut butter chips or chocolate chips.

Spread the dough into greased 15"x10"x 1" baking pan.

    Bake at 375º 20-30 minutes.

Cool; cut into 35-2" squares after frosting with your favorite chocolate frosting.

Posted by: blueridge_va: Rec./Rev.: This was given to me to try; I don't know it's origination, but it's a good, quick bar cookie.
