1 box brownie mix (for 9x13 pan)
1 tub vanilla frosting
3/4 c. chopped peanuts
3 c. crisp rice cereal
1 c. creamy peanut butter
2 c. chocolate chips


Recipe



Prepare and bake brownie mix as directed in 9x13 pan. Cool completely.

Frost with vanilla frosting and sprinkle with peanuts. Refrigerate. Measure cereal into large bowl and set aside. Melt peanut butter and chocolate chips in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Pour over cereal in bowl, stirring till evenly coated. Spread over frosted brownies. Cool completely before cutting. (I recommend refrigerating -- emr)

Posted by: emr: Got this off a brownie mix box several months ago and pulled it out today when I felt like making something sinful to take to work tomorrow. Oh boy is this a sweet-tooth/chocolate fix. (I know I had a keeper when DS took the first bite and just sighed, "Oh yeah -- this is good.") Easy to make and looks so pretty when it's served. I think it probably needs to stay in the refrigerator just to keep the top layer firm.
