CRESCENT PECAN PIE BARS

1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 egg, beaten
1/2 C. chopped pecans
1/2 C. granulated sugar
1/2 C. corn syrup
1 T. margarine, melted
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract Recipe
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch ovenproof dish.
Separate dough into two large rectangles. Press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of prepared dish to form crust; seal any perforations. Bake crust at 375 degrees for 5 minutes.
In medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Pour over partially baked crust. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and cut into bars.
