Cherry Mash Bars

List of Ingredients




1 c. sugar
2 Tbl. Butter
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/3 c. half and half or evaporated milk (I use evap. milk)
1 c. mini marshmallows
1 c. (6 oz.) cherry chips
1 c. (6 oz.) milk choc. chips
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. salted spanish peanuts (crushed)

Recipe



Compine sugar, butter , salt and milk in 1-1/2 or 2 quart saucepan. Boil over medium high heat for 5 min. Stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows and cherry chips. Spread in 8 or 9 inch square pan which has been lined with wax paper. Melt choc. chips with peanut butter in small sauce pan over low heat. stir occasionally. Stir in peanuts. Spread over cherry layer. Cool then place in refrigerator. Cut into small squares. I double this recipe and put it in a 9X13 cake pan.
