Red Velvet Cream Cheese Brownies (T&T)

1 box Duncan Hines Red Velvet cake mix
1 stick butter, melted
2 eggs
1 c. pecans, chopped (optional)

1 (1 lb) box powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg cream cheese
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla


Recipe

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Butter and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish. Combine dry ingredients, butter and 2 eggs. Spread in greased pan. Beat powdered sugarm cream cheese, vanilla, and remaining 2 eggs together and spread on top of the cake.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until cake tests done.

11/06: Very good. Would make a pretty presentation on a Christmas cookie plate or for Valentine's Day.

Try with other flavors such as: German Chocolate, Lemon or Vanilla cake mixes.
