Dianae Posted: I got this recipe off the Jif Peanut Butter Baking Sticks. A phenomenal invention IMHO...sticks of peanut butter just like the Crisco baking sticks. Just cut and use.


List of Ingredients




3/4 c Jif peanut butter
1/2 c Crisco shortening
1 1/4 c firmly packed light brown sugar
3 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 cups flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda

Recipe



Preheat oven to 375. Combine peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Add egg. Beat just until blended.

Combine dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture at low speed, just until blended. Drop by heaping tsp. 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Flatten slightly with fork in criss cross pattern.

Bake for 7-9 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheed. Remove to cooling rack to cool completely.
