    Melting Shortbread Cookies (T&T)

    Recipe Introduction

    I got this recipe years ago when I sold Tupperware. We have continued to make these cookies and YES...they DO melt in your mouth!!!

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. butter (I use half butter and half margarine), softened
    3 c. flour
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. cornstarch
    2 t. butter flavoring

    Recipe

    Cream butter; add sugar gradually and beat until fluffy. Sift flour and cornstarch together then add gradually to creamed mixture. Drop by rounded teaspoonful on cookie sheet. Bake at 325º until edges are lightly browned, about 15-20 mins. (10 mins. in my oven)

    These are delicate cookies and will not mail well.
