    4 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon soda
    2 cups brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 cup shortening
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 teaspoon lemon flavoring
    1/2 teaspoon salt

    Roll in balls. Flatten. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
