German Sugar Cookies

List of Ingredients




1 c margarine
1 1/2 c sugar
3 egg yolks
1 T vanilla
2 1/2 c all purpose flour
1 t baking powder
1 t baking soda



Recipe



Cream margarine and sugar with electric mixer. Add egg yolks, one at a time. Stir in vanilla.

Separately, combine flour, baking powder and baking soda. Blend into creamed mixture, a little at a time.

Roll into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in additional sugar.

Bake at 350ºF for about 10 mins. Cool.

May use red and/or green colored sugars for a holiday effect.

My notes: these have a good taste. I will be making these.
